In 2015 MagicTails was asked to make Tog Jigs for a specific customer. They started with the Banana Jig and quickly modified it after use. Every product that Magictail produces needs to be thoroughly tested. After use of the Banana Jig it was felt that the collar was only a hinder to the catching ability as it wouldn't let the crab sit on the hook well and bait was easily taken off. So the game changer Tog jig was created. Few very important Key factors have made this one of the most wanted Tog Jig. First MagicTails was the first to cut the collar off and expose hook more for better bait presentation. They flattened the bottom of the jig so it sits flat on the bottom with the hook facing upwards and angled so the tog can eat without even feeling the lead. They took away the weaker Jig hooks and added a custom 3407 black nickel mustad and a brass eye. They currently sell this Jig in white legger, glow, green crab, and chartreuse/orange.
